- *****- Feedback left by buyer.More than a year agoVerified purchaseI'm not familiar with actual rawhides, but this is a VERY nice quality faux hide that I would definitely recommend for home decor, some costuming, etc. I used it to make an upscale Sheriff Woody (Toy Story) vest for my kid as most packaged costumes use awful materials. It very easy to cut and sew, and if you don't feel like seam finishing, it's really not necessary. The pile is soft, while the fabric body is a little stiff, as I imagine true hides are, and the cow print is not cartoony.
