    easy to set up sounds good on Imac using the the optical out (mid 2011 ) built into the headphone jack. Though analog sounds are much more fun than digital IMOP

    Excellent value

    The sound can be quite grating in both bass and treble when at lower mid to high volumes. There's no warmth to them. Much more pleasant at lower volumes although no distortion when loud. That being said, I've only had them for a week, so hopefully the sharpness will mellow out after a time. Otherwise they are really well designed for a cheap active speaker set, they pack a huge bass, treble and volume range which you can adjust on the side of one speaker. They have great connectivity and comes with all the cables you'll need. Easy to use remote. No bass or treble controls on the remote. The volume knob on the speaker is also a short and long press, mode and power button respectfully.

    Looks the part, sounds great!

    I have these hooked up to my turntable and the sound is excellent. Lovely bass, and clear and defined mid and treble. I have the speakers hooked up to my turntable and the TV, and on the turntable they handle everything from Iron Maiden to the Prodigy to 60s Soul and Motown really well. The TV needs a little tweaking in terms of upping the treble to capture speech but the Edifiers really add to the watching experience with that bass tone. The interface is very easy to use and the bluetooth works well. Add in to this they look fantastic!
