    Not worth the bother

    Bought these to retro-fit a rain sensor to my car. Packaging fine, One side really easy to get off, the other is almost impossible. Attached to the rain sensor, no bubbles, placed carefully onto a clean, dry windscreen, bubbles thus not letting the sensor work correctly. Unable to get the bubbles out or press along the edge to try. Took the second pad, put it on the windscreen 1st this time, then bubbles appeared on the sensor time this time! Again, unable to get the bubbles out of the fixing. So unable to do the job I need.

    MG ZT Rain Sensor Repair

    The original gel pad for the rain sensor on my ZT was coming away from windscreen and the sensor was struggling to detect rain drops due to this. Once the old gel was fully removed, I carefully fitted this new one, after warming it, the prism and the windscreen up. The rain sensor works perfectly again, very happy!
