Bought for specific use in camper van to enable me to use a sandwich toaster / pie warmer. Dimensions were exactly right for hob. Works extremely well, giving a wide, gentle, slow heat as advertised. I thought the handle might get in the way but it doesn’t, and the fact that it folds means easy storage is possible. Just leaving it in situ after use, it’s fine to store once cooled. A really useful accessory
I can simmer food very gently using this heat diffuser and it is also very useful to keep food warm for a short time with out burning: for example after draining vegetables and adding a knob of butter prior to serving them out. It is very well made and the folding handle makes it easy to fit in a drawer.
