Good quality and plenty of it.
If you do go for this be prepared to accept that there is a lot of it. So if you don't like it well! Now I did take the gamble and i'm not disappointed as it is great stuff. It is very soft and is easily cut up or even spooned into convenient containers, I have the majority of it in an plastic tub after filling my shaving bowl. It smells quite strongly of sweet almonds, probably not a first choice but it does moderate in use and I found it grows on you. In practice it works just fine and I get a great shave from it, I like the quantity as you usually get so little from the other quality soaps. For me, I'm glad I took the punt on getting this big block of the stuff as it will be in use for a long time, though it is very soft compared to most so I would expect to work through it quicker ... I honestly highly recommend this. My husbands hands get chapped and sore with working outside... we have tried most creams but this really works. Apply and best to sleep with a glove on and let it work it’s magical!! This is our third jar, so it was great to find a larger jar !!

Great value, less packaging
I bought this in July 2020 and I've just ordered another in November 2021. I shave 2 to 3 times a week. It's a great product. I scoop out some and squash it into an old jar, top up when needed. Just think of all the packaging you are saving, and money!

Live in North Bucks, where the water is as hard as nails. With a decent brush this stuff can still be worked into a thick peaky cream whilst holding plenty of water.
