This Extraordinary CD Is A Must have!
Gwen Stefani’s first solo album since splitting with No Doubt featuring Andre 3000, Dr. Dre and Eve. We originally bought this CD when it was first released in Nov 2004 and played it to death in the car. Had a problem with the CD player and now Love.Angel.Music.Baby is trapped in the car hence purchasing another. This extraordinary CD is full of ditzy,dressed up pink,party, bubblegum chewing late 1980’s pop mixed in with chart busting beats and hooks. Only someone like Gwen Stefani can get away with singing "This s..t is bananas/ B-A-N-A-N-A-S!" OUTSTANDING
There's only one word for this album: OUTSTANDING This CD is one of the best in my collection. Gwen Stefani is an amazing vocalist, reaching heights that many other singers only dream of. Some think it was a mistake that she broke off from No Doubt, but she has definitely excelled herself here. Every song on this album is beautifully written and easy to sing-along to. What You Waiting For? was the first release, followed by Rich Girl, Hollaback Girl, Cool and Luxurious. If you think those songs are brilliant, this album is going to amaze you. Stefani has co-written many of the songs, along with the likes of No Doubt member Tony Kanal, and Andre 3000. Her love for Japanese culture comes through strongly in Harajuku Girls, but her softer, more feminine side is shown through ballads such ...
