    By a stroke of my own stupidity I ordered the wrong kit at first but Ben was patient and got me set up with the right kit and my tech was very happy. He said it would take a little more time than originally estimated because this kit is very complete. The tech also said the parts were of a high quality and the Marantz will be like new. With the custom oak cabinet my nephew made for it I will be all the envy of the phonophile group.

    Very Impressed!!

    This was my first recap and I wasn't sure if I wanted to try and source everything out myself. This kit came with everything needed to make my 1060 sing again. Instructions where easy to fallow and very informative....if your a novist like myself the Instructions alone are worth the money. Hoping he has a kit to do my 4240 now!😉😊

    "Not what I expected"

    Unfortunately, the power button required replacing on the 2nd day of use. After removing the cover,seeing the corrosion on the framework and the years of accumulated dust, I doubt I would have made the purchase initially. However, after finding a reasonable power switch alternative and a little cleaning, inside and out, the unit works. In terms of the sound quality, I'm not that impressed, but, it's "decent".
