Surprisingly Good
I’m surprised at the quality of this lens for a super zoom. It really does stand up well especially when aberrations and distortions are corrected in Lightroom or other similar programs. Only slight negative is a slightly noisy autofocus system but I can tolerate that.

All in all, a convenient lense but don't expect fast speed with great light
Good all in one lense. Bought it to allow flexibility when out and about without having to carry an extra lense. Image quality is good although not perfect in low light especially when using zoom as f level step up. Required tripod in low light situation. Lense lock only work to keep the lense in its normal state ie. when you want to put it away. Lense lock doesn't work when zooming but not a problem as long as you hold the lense with your hand to stop it creeping. All in all, a convenient lense but don't expect fast speed with great light like the one with lower F stop lenses.Good all in one lense. This lens provides a really good range in one package. Gives a good wide angle coupled with a very useful zoom range. It’s an ideal “go-to” lens for every day use. It’s Tann two lenses out of my case. Images are super sharp especially on a tripod. Highly recommended

Having read several reports on this lens, some positive some negative I decided to purchase it as a walkabout lens so I could leave my 18-55 and 55-250 kit lenses at home, overaul I am very satisfied with the quality of the lens and its performance is certainly on a par with my other 2 lenses and it covers most of my requirements.
