G Scale Loco
I had looked at this item for some time and eventually took the plunge. The service and delivery were excellent. The engine worked out of the box and it was simple to recharge the battery. It works well on my layout although I do have some inclines, due to the garden. I have tried with wagons and coaches but, the inclines are a bit steep for some loads. The Radio control is good although the engine does have its moments of non connection but if I move closer, allis well. The sound box is very amusing but give some great noises. Reasonable for the price.
All plastic but with quite good detailing. Controller very cheap with poor centring of sticks. Instructions difficult to understand in places. However it works well and pulls 4 large coaches easily. I think it is good value for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

R/C Steam loco
If you want a cheap realistic starter garden loco this is for you. It has a powerful electric motor supplied by a7.2 v rechargeable battery located in the boiler . It easily pull 4 coaches but has more power when running in reverse (bunker first) The r/c control is designed to control 2 locos at once on different frequencies selected by a switch in the loco cab. I have 2, on a full charge they run continually for about 1 hour if pulling 4 coaches, longer with less coaches. These locos are made in China under the trade name “Train “there is a selection of coaches and wagons made by them, couplings are compatible with LGB etc.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good value for money
It’s reasonable priced well made the sound is of good quality details is very good. The only thing I was not keen on was the blue direction lights have now changed these for clear lights. Long run for a 7.4 volt 700mha battery.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good for the price
After seeing reviews on this loco wasn’t sure about buying it as people were saying it’s either stopped or going flat out. Apparently each one is different but I have found it to be quite controllable and for the price I would recommend it.
