    Not disappointed, just class pickups

    I would always recommend Vanson pickup as they are shear quality. This is my third set, all different types all sound like pickups five times the price. Even YouTube's John Robson had them installed on his signature, custom built guitar.

    A clearer, more transparent humbucking pair of pickups that won't break the bank.

    I have bought Vanson Pickups before and have found them surprisingly good value. This pair replace a USA made pair that did not sit well tonally in a 1980s Tokai SG guitar. These pickups sit closer to the sound characteristic range I was aiming for in my mind's 'ear'. The bass notes being freer of the phase distortion found in most lower output humbuckers, the whole range of tones being clearer. As the sound engineers say 'you can easily add dirt to a clean sound but it's much harder to clean up a dirty sound'.

    Great pickups for your guitar

    I bought these to update my guitar, and they produce a fantastic dynamic sound, equal to many more expensive versions. Amazing quality as usual from Vanson guitars. A top tip I will give you for free: whilst fitting your pickups, get a treble bleed kit too, so when you turn your volume down on your instrument, you won't lose the treble frequencies. It makes a big difference.

    Great Pickups At A Great Price

    Bought these for a Harley Benton CST24T whose stock pickups always sounded a bit shrill to my ears. I've had these pickups before and knew they were good sounding and would be very suitable for this guitar. Although I did not bother wiring the coil split again on this guitar, there are 4 wires if you want to do so. The guitar is now played regularly rather than being a bit of a dust collector, and I'm a very happy customer again.
