Not sure what`s been going on with this item, it works but the display and voltage markings on the dial are reversed, eg, if you want max voltage you have to turn the dial to zero, conversely if you want zero volts you turn the dial to 250. The display reads the same as the dial, (in reverse). Seems like it has been wired the wrong way round, also for UK buyers the case isn`t earthed.It works ok in my situation but I have to measure the voltage before applying it to a project.

The rating is misleading. At 3KVA, the input current is 13.64A RMS @ 220V Input as indicated in the specification. Fuses provided are only 10A, 250V.
The 18AWG magnet wire overheats at the rating of 3KVA when attempting to draw 12.5A @ 250V.
Input power lead that is provided has an 120V IEC Type A plug, although an international adaptor was provided, someone can plug to a 120V source. It would be better not to provide this plug for safety reasons.
Rating should be reduced.
