Yeah, very good. Used this to seal the upper deck on a 17' retired fishing boat, in a paddock, used as an occasional summerhouse. Was leaking lie a sieve formerly, as the fibreglass gelcote was breaking down....lots of little raindrips everywhere inside. One coat did it, but two would be even more firm. To re-fibreglass the deck would cost thousands else. I will be using it on the roof felt joints of a chalet in Hereford, soon. Same problem, water 'tracking.' Works well even in hot sun. Pliable

    Thompsons black rubberised roof paint

    I have an elderly flat roof problem and I could get a rubberised paint locally, but no more. A quick search on ebay and decided" lets try this". In this weeks torrential downpours, it stopped the leaks. Very easy to use and clean the brush with detergent and warm water as it says on the tin. Highly recommended, but fill any cracks first before using.

    Not so good as some I’ve used.

    I had previously only used roof paint that had fibres in it from alternative brands and which is better. The lack of fibres seems to be the most likely reason this product doesn’t bridge splits and wear & tear as well as what I’d been used to. In fairness it is also a bit cheaper than what I’d previously used but in this instance all that amounted to was; ‘buy cheap you buy twice’.

    Great product and good price. Does what’s it’s states on the tin.

    Have used Thompson roof seal before and it does a great job. Used it on flat felt roof and all has been good. No problems and it’s a good price compared to other roof paint. Hence why I bought another tin.

    Worth trying

    I've used this stuff for years. It's a pretty cost-effective answer to a leaky flat roof. Goes on easily with brush or roller, including on a damp surface. Dries quickly. Brushes etc. are washed out with water. It may last 10 years in ideal conditions but in real life it's not magic - so not 5 stars!

    Perfect for shed roof

    The roofing felt on my shed roof was allowing the odd drip to leak through, so instead of replacing the felt I decided to seal it. This rubber roof sealant was delivered very quickly by buildandplumbmaterialsonline and applied to the roof very easily with a roller. I had sufficient to do three coats and well pleased with the finish. The next day a thunderstorm occurred and there were no leaks.
