    Great Product.

    What a great product! It's much easier for marking brick or stone than using felt tip or pencil marks. The bright colour stands out and is very easy to see, making it much more accurate to drill holes. It wipes off very easy if you make a mistake, too. 10/10!

    Poorly manufactured

    I've brought a couple off these marxmen and when I've come to use them ,both times the end As snapped off from the cartridge unable to use them and being left with a full cartridge of chalk wasn't happy with them especially the price you pay for them and not being able to use

    Game changer

    Game changer. Forget messing around with pencil marks you can see or knackering the tip of your permanent marker, this makes a very visible dot exactly where you need it, which wipes away instantly should you want to do that. So easy to use, for me it makes fitting shower screens and fittings SO much quicker and easier

    Now keep both a regular and a Deep Hole Marxman as essential parts of my DIY toolkit.

    If you have ever tried mounting a (eg) kitchen cabinet to a wall you will have run into some of the following while trying to mark the position for the drill holes to hold the cabinet up: Your marker pencil won't go through the hole. You need an assistant to hold the cabinet in place whilst you use both your hands to 1/ hold a nail through the hole and 2/ bang it with a hammer to make the mark. Even when you have done that - the cabinet slips half an inch between the 1st & 2nd holes or the 3rd & 4th etc. All of these issues are overcome with the Marxman (and even more so by the Deep Hole Marxman) for the type of issues described above. Hold the cabinet in place with shoulder and one hand & pshhht the Marxman with the other in each of the holes - Job done.
