I did have to pick it up from the post office maybe because it was marked fragile which was fine. Unfortunately the shade did get a tiny bit bent in transit which is mainly noticeable when the lamp is on. It is not that big a deal as it can be turned around. Overall, I think the seller did their best to carefully package the item!
