I bought this DVD to use as a teaching tool for elementary students. It was somewhat useful, photography was excellent, and the sound was very good, the chapters were well placed and useful. The movie itself was slow paced, rather mono-tone and shallow in content. The primary message was evolutionary position and responsibility in ecology. It did have some interesting shots of two types of research both working in canopy & emergent layers.

  • Imax Tropical Rainforest

I love Imax movies because you know your going to get a quality product. The films are visually spectacular. The cameramen give you everything you want to see and more. I just wish I had a great theater to watch it in. The TV is just not the same. This is just one of the great IMAX experiences. I love them all!! Julia Farnham :)
