In all conversations via private massages the seller was always professional, honest very kind and attentive to customer requests, in my case for some details on shipping. He kept his word, what was agreed was then done. The shipment arrived on time. The touchpad conformed to the description and works great. Excellent seller indeed, I highly recommend it.

Brought new life to a slow, old laptop.

Definitely the best upgrade available for my old Compaq Presario laptop. While this isn't the latest, fastest, superest processor with rainbow sparkles made from sustainably harvested naturally shed certified organic unicorn horns, it is priced appropriately and functions for my application. Many newer processors may phisically fit, however, they may also not function with my motherboard. Installation took a while due to the construction of the laptop but researching to find the correct compatible processor took longer due to the generic repair manual provided by the manufacturer but that has nothing to do with this product. Make sure you apply some new heat sink paste every time you change out a processor! Totally jazzed with the improved speed of this processor over the original ...

  • Best 10$ upgrade, ever.

Brought an old Inspiron 1545 back to life after years of it being out of service. Noticed that the original CPU (Intel Celeron 900) was woefully bad with Windows 7. If you tried to watch a Youtube video and do anything else the audio constantly cut out and even the movement of the mousepad sent it over the edge into 100% usage at times. To make a long story short, this Dual-Core popped right in it's place. Put some heatsink on it and reinstalled in about 5 mins. Booted up Windows and it automatically installed the drivers and prompted a restart. I no longer have any of the audio issues and things run much faster and smoother. Best 10$ upgrade, ever.

  • Upgrading a Dell 1525 CPU

This is part of my purchases is an attempt to have a Blu-ray capable laptop for less money. The accessibility of the processor makes this job an easy fix for the moderate equipped computer geek. A 2Ghz. is suggested as sufficient for smooth Blu-ray playback, I decided to give this a try.

  • Great product supplied easy to fit.

Fantastic cpu replacement for my laptop computer. Works great now that it has a duel core cpu in it

  • Core2Duo on a budget

This chip has great performance and if it had more L2 cache it would be labeled a Core2Duo. A Pentium Dual core such as this is simply a Core2Duo with half the L2-cache disabled. 90% of the time it will be pretty much just as quick as the equivalent MHz Core2Duo, though 100% of the time it will be a fraction of the cost. Uses less power and runs cooler than my old Celeron 585! (single core seem MHz, older design)
