    Nice

    This stud finder works very well on drywall, can't vouch for plaster. The electric wiring indicator works well and is a plus. It is a little large but that could be a benefit (harder to lose). Definitely easy to use, it lights up like a christmas tree when it hits a stud. Good purchase.

    acceptable but not great tool

    While it does work it does not drag smoothly on semi and gloss paint. Also gives you a very wide signal on a stud, you have to mark both sides and measure to the middle. The old broken one I had to replace was much easier / faster to use.
