The item was inappropriately packaged and became damaged in transit in such a way that it needed to be repaired before it could be used. I tried to contact to contact the seller to discuss the issue but received no response. Bad packaging and bad communication.

The item he purchased was and still is over 100 years old. It is such a rare item the customer repaired it rather than return the item for a full refund. Sellers Beware
