A very effective heatsink unit!
The heatsink part of the device is very substantial and capable of absorbing a lot of heat from the processor. The fan is fully controllable (a 4-pin device) and runs fairly quietly.

Much better than stock cooler.
Performs much quieter than than the stock intel heatsink. I believe this heatsink is rated at 120w max TDP verses the 65w for alot of Intel's stock coolers around at the moment.
