DELIVERY INFORMATION
 
 
The total cost of delivery will be shown prior to your checkout.
 
 
 
Our delivery costs are calculated by the approximate weight of the consignment to the destination provided. The amount charged will also include any costs for the packaging and handling of the product(s) where necessary.
 
 
 
Standard delivery is usually within 3-5 working days once the item has been shipped from us (depending on the customer’s location)
 
 
 
Our standard delivery service is provided upon checkout to keep the shipping costs low. However if you need a faster / premium delivery service, please contact us prior to ordering to have this arranged.
 
 
 
You can track the status of your order at any time by signing in to your account and clicking Order history and Details. We will update the status of your order as it changes.
 
 
 
Most items in the shop are in stock and ready for shipping however for some items (breeding cages in particular) it may take up to 2 weeks for delivery if we are temporarily out of stock.

DAMAGED GOODS:
 
 
Once the goods leave our property they are out of our handling. From time to time goods become damaged in transit.
 
 
 
In the unlikely event your goods are damaged upon delivery, please notify us as soon as soon as you can and if possible, please clearly photograph both the damage to the box / packaging and the product(s). We may ask you for this evidence so we can forward this to the courier.
 
 
 
If your goods are damaged we will be happy to exchange the goods for you where the value of the replacement is less or equal to the compensation offered.
 
 
 
Our delivery service has a standard compensation scheme of up to £50.
 
For orders over the value £50 we strongly recommend that additional carriage insurance is taken. This is a waiver paid to the courier (not to KGBIRDS) ti insure more valuable goods against damage.

RETURNS
 
 
We offer a no fuss 14 day returns service.
 
Goods cannot be returned after 14 days from receipt / delivery have passed.
 
 
 
Returned products will not have any shipping costs refunded, only the cost of the goods themselves.
 
 
 
The refund amount will be the purchase amount at the time of the order. Not necessarily the price shown in the store.
 
 
 
You may return goods to us without reason and receive a full refund if:
 
 
 
The goods are returned unused and as new condition
The goods have not been damaged
The goods have not been misused
All goods are returned at your own cost to us
You have spoke with us prior to returning and had your return agreed and/or;
Raised a valid RMA from the My Orders page which has been approved
You have packaged the goods appropriately – we cannot issue refunds for any damaged returns (see below)
 
 
When sending items back to us, please ensure the delivery service covers the cost of the goods in compensation. While for the most part this should not be a concern, if we are unfortunate enough to receive the goods from you damaged; we will be unable to make the refund to you. We would then suggest a claim is made with your courier’s compensation scheme.
 
 
 
Note: We offer a similar service when shipping items to you in order to protect you, the customer and KGBIRDS from any damages caused by 3rd parties.
