Annoyingly, the design - from Kenwood - is rubbish, and I might need to buy a third one at some point. When I blend nuts or seeds, the blades overheat, transfering heat to the super thin plastic parts that hold everything together. It then melts and the whole thing falls apart. Again, it's Kenwood's fault. I'm glad I could replace it.

Item is made from stainless steel and is well made so I feel was good value for money. Recommend giving it a clean with soap and water before use to remove any residue remaining from the production process. Very happy with product.
