It appears to be genuine, magnets do not stick to the head joint, and when you hold it between your fingers and give it a twang, it has a nice thunk and not tinny sounding, which should mean it’s a silver head joint!!! Having a little trouble hitting low C on the flute , don’t know if it’s me or the flute. I am relearning to play .

The only thing I would say negatively about it is the solder where the pointed shoulder meets the top of the keys is poorly done, exposing sharp pointed ends of the shoulder. This occurs on all of the keys. Not a problem when playing but snags the cloth when cleaning.

I’ve never played the flute before so I can’t give any insightful information on sound quality, but for sure the flute is better than the one my son borrowed from the school lol. The canvas bag outside the case came with the zipper broken, but the seller replaced it right away. Thank you so much!
