The touchscreen makes the sat nav quick and easy to programme and the 4.3 in (10.92 cm) ensure a good size and readable route picture. The display screen size of the Garmin automotive GPS receiver is 7.11 cm by 5.33 cm and the screen resolution is 480x272 pixels. The Garmin Nuvi 245W is WAAS enabled ((Wide Area Augmentation System) and offers the user multiple route support together with post code support. A useful safety feature of the Garmin automotive GPS receiver is its ability to warn the driver of an upcoming fixed speed camera as well as giving the driver an audible warning sound when the driver is approaching or exceeding the speed limit. The Garmin Nuvi 245W is powered by a built-in Li-ion battery that lasts up to four hours depending on usage.
