My hedge trimmer was received safely but without any paperwork in the box. However the manual is available on the net. The on / off switch (1 /0) defaults to the (1) position unless the (0) is pressed constantly, not sure if this is normal but does not affect the operation of the trimmer. Anyway the machine started on the second attempt and runs well.
