      Panasonic ER-GB96 beard trimmer is a good choice!

      I got the Panasonic ER-GB96 beard trimmer for about $75+ when it typically sells for $105+ on Amazon. I did a lot of research beforehand and I'm very happy with it. The shaver moving parts snap off of the device for easy cleaning. Additionally, the shaver is designed to be cleaned by running water through it. It says that you should oil the blade with each use, but I suspect that's because it's set up to be cleaned by running water thought it. I'm not getting it wet, however, and it sounds and performs the same as ever without oiling it. My beard is short, and I'm able to do what I need with the shortest comb. It comes with 4. Possible downsides: It uses an older battery type NI-MH, rather than Li-ION; Li-ION stays viable for more years. That said, replacement batteries for this ...

      An effective trimmer and a good value

      The Panasonic ER-GB96 mostly lives up to its promises. It's easy to configure, waterproof, easy to maneuver, surprisingly quiet, and versatile. It cuts my hair well, and can be used with or without its charging cable attached. The longest attachment enables cutting hair 1.2 inches long. I'm not sure yet how often the battery needs charging, as it's still on its first charge and I haven't used it that much. But overall, I'm pleased.
