If you look closely at the pic, there are IC's on the ribbon cable and this battery doesn't have them. As it turns out I can't find any of the "correct" ones, so since the polarity is correct going to give this a try.Seller offered a refund but decided to try it and hope the wife's old iPod runs again.Follow-up from: k***b- Feedback followed up on by buyer.- Feedback followed up on by buyer.Seller responded well after purchase. After discussion with Darren, these batteries WILL work for the old iPod iTouch, he uses them to refurb old units and they work fine without the IC strip mentioned in the original feedback. We'll see how it goes! Thank you.
