    Signing Time Vol 1 My First Signs

    All the Signing Times DVDs are great. The songs make ASL fun and easy to learn. My youngest child, who has Down Syndrome, loves to watch them and signs along with the TV. It reinforces the signing instruction we all receive as a family. We are tutored in ASL in our home by a friend who is deaf. She introduced them to us and I knew we had to own a bunch of them. Not just for a hearing-impaired child, they are so invaluable to assist any parent or child care provider to be able to understand a non-verbal child. There is so much less frustration on everyone's part. I recommend them very highly.

    PROUD SUPPORTER OF SIGNING TIME!

    Please go out and buy these dvds! They are amazing. My 3 year old son has been watching them since he was an infant and he loves them. He knows soooo many signs. Its amazing. And don't worry - you will learn them too. And the songs are infectious! I cant get them out of my head! Please just go buy one of these and watch it a few times and you and your little one will be signing in no time. Its soo much fun. And its really helped my son learn how to better express his emotions.

    Great video!

    My daughter LOVES this product. She starts to cry when we have to turn it off when it is over. We watch it several times a day and she still wants to watch it. Thank you for making suck a great video for children (and adults) to learn Sign Language. I recommend this to anyone that has a young child. The younger the child the easier it is for them to learn sign language. It then also helps with communication with your child sooner! That is always great!

    A valuable resource!

    I can't say enough good things about the Signing Time video series. They teach basic signs from American Sign Language. With fun music and other children modeling commonly used signs along with the spoken words they are great for beginning talkers. My daughter has a speech delay and these have helped improve her vocabulary (both verbal and sign) and reduce her frustration. I'd definitely recommend these!!!

    I love these dvds. My students love to learn new signs

    It is simple and keeps my students attention. Weeks after viewing the dvd my students ask to watch it again. I am also seeing my students use the signs with their parents. I have learned the signs and will try to incorpoarte them into my directions I give to the students. I find that they listen better if I use a few signs while I am talking. Great resource!
