The eclipse automatic centre punch is a great tool, this one being a replacement for one I had for years, then lost. There are no instructions for use on the packaging, apart from a warning NOT to use a hammer, so it isn't obvious that the knurled section at the end furthest from the tip can be rotated to adjust the strength of impact. This controls the depth of the indent the pinch produces and allows punching on metals of different hardness.

    Doesnt work

    On pressing the punch it does not do an automatic punch typical poor British workmanship , or is it like every British made product that you used to rely on , made in China under British name licence .Feel let down , cant be arsed to get in touch with company to complain

    Good Quality
