I purchased this tape player at a price much higher than others on eBay because of the description: "Condition New: A brand-new, unused, unopened, undamaged item (including handmade items)." This description is misleading to say the least; the item that was finally delivered yesterday was filthy on the outside, contained four leaking batteries and does NOT work. I sent this msg to Seller requesting refund and got no reply. I would NOT trust his Seller again.

This is a great one to own, back to basics!
This was one of the very first scooby doo cartoons to be put on DVD, Its fantastic , and will keep the kiddies busy and happy. having 5 Children Scoooby was always my best friend, It was my time to getthings done when scooby went on, the kids were busy and i could do the things I needed to. he has been a life long friend to me. and I admit, I have seen every one ofthem, and still own all. they are my litte piece of my kids childhood. Just the music alone make me think back of when my kids were small. I love scooby., what a well thought out series with bright bold colors and a plot in every show. makeing the kids think, nothing like todays cartoons which seem to just leave them looking like zombies. Scooby was a cartton that you had to use your mind and my kids did , they use to sit ... "Scooby-Dooby-Doo, Where Are You?" remember the song?..
This DVD is a collection of the first 5 episodes of "Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?", which originally aired in the early 70s (1969 to be exact). I used to watch these in syndication after school and always loved them. Now, my son is 3 1/2 and absolutely loves Scooby-Doo! I'll admit that some of the monsters can be a bit scary for younger viewers, but the whole adventure of the mystery is what it always has been: good, clean fun! It's got my son saying things like, "Well gang, it looks like we've got a mystery on our hands!" I haven't even touched the bonus features yet... I thoroughly recommend this collection for any parent (or Scooby-Doo fan...) looking for cartoons the way they used to be, without all of the constant fighting/martial arts ... Classic Children's Cartoons
I bought the new Scooby Doo Classic Cartoon Dvd for my daughter before Christmas as a Stocking Stuffer. Classic Cartoons leave more for a child's imagination, and are good for adults to reflect on their childhood, (having watched the same cartoons). My daughter liked the older version of Scooby Doo better than the modern, which leads me to assume what I already know. Scooby Doo is a classic and good cartoon for all children. This particular Dvd was priced reasonably, so it was a great bargain for the money. In the future I will continue to buy Classic Cartoon Dvd's if priced appropriately, and suitable for my child's viewing.I bought the new Scooby Doo Classic Cartoon Dvd for my daughter before Christmas as a Stocking Stuffer. Highly recommend. Good for everyone to watch
Love the early scooby doos the best. Got for my grandson and he loves watching them. Can still remember words to that song. We watch it together a lot and I still enjoy them as much as I use to. Cartoons these days are not nearly as good and most are just plain silly with no real plot and a lot of scretchy voices that drive me crazy. Live these old cartoons. They are timeless and ageless
