  • Cream - At The BBC

WOW! What an incredible album! Cream, along with The Yardbirds, Doors, Floyd, Led Zep and ELP are one of my all time fave bands from the 60's and 70's. They were only together for just over two years, but their legacy still lives and when you hear this album, drawn from live appearances at BBC's Top of the Pops (radio show on the Light Programme) and Saturday Club and Top Gear you realise what an awsome band they were. The track listing is broad, covering material from their three albums: Fresh Cream, Disreali Gears and previews of what would be on Wheels Of Fire along with three of their singles: Wrapping Paper, I Feel Free and Strange Brew. If you listen to the studio versions of the singles and then to these versions, you'll be able to hear how accurately Cream could reproduce their ...

  • Cream - Live

Wow, is all I can say about this product. It is a stunning sound from Cream and, in my opinion, much better than the 'Live Cream Vol. 1+2' if for nothing else than the greater amount of tracks you get on this CD. I would recommend it before the other Cream live albums. The CD includes 26 tracks, four of which are excerpts from interviews with Eric Clapton. The only letdown about this CD is the ever so slightly below standard recording of 'Crossroads' in which the quality of the sound is poorer than that of the other tracks.
