    It works best for 38mm or 48mm parasol poles, not "up to 55mm".

    The advert states "Works Best For Parasols Up To 55mm in Diameter", this isn'f quite true. The label on the box implies a minimum width of 38mm, "Locking bolt with plastic cap for 38mm and 48mm poles". My parasol pole is narrower so it doesn't hold in position because the retaining screw is too short. I'm having to fudge it. It's cast iron "effect" (not actual cast iron) but solid enough.

    An Amazing Base.

    This parasol base was wrapped perfectly and boxed. It far exceeded anything I expected. A beautiful design, heavyweight, absolutely amazing price, this is the best one I have owned, and seen in people's gardens. Really you will not be disappointed.

    Parasol bace

    Lovely looks absolutely stunning so nice I have 2 in my back garden and I bought another 1 a couple of years back as a present for someone and they were well happy with it. Holds the parasol in place and the pattern is lovely 🥰
