    Good value

    It is a lot of model for your money. It is very modular so there are possibilities for modifying the design. I had to add extra cardboard braces for the towers, and some of the pieces needed cleaning up. It mostly fitted together fairly well. Tip: I mixed acrylic paint with polyfilla and PVA to make a lovely rough matt surface on the stonework.

    Castle kit assembly for more experienced model makers.

    Instructions not very good part numbers could be made clearer.I have made many kits in my lifetime.To make the stair cases are to difficult ,too many tiny parts over 90 could be improved by less.I however completed most of the kit and pleased with result.

    Not for beginners but recommended anyway.

    This really is a model and not a toy. It requires a couple of days work to assemble properly and will benefit from a sturdy base, a painted finsh (not included). It requires a moderate level of modelling experience and a large amount of patience to get a good result but is well worth the effort. Its about 3 times the size of the old airfix kit. I'm planning on putting internal lights in mine.

    Mini art castle

    This kit would not be for the beginner in modelling as it comes on 8 sprues! I’ve only just began to assemble it, it’s going to take time to complete. The pieces all appear clear and sharp edged, with a minimal amount of trimming required. From what I’ve already constructed the parts appear to fit well, in all a very good kit for the money 👍🏼👍🏼
