Please also do not test your rod by threading your line through the rod and then tugging on the line yourself Furthermore, if your line gets caught round the tip, DO NOT exert any further pressure. For these reasons Tackle manufacturers remain very strict on replacing broken tip sections, insisting on seeing the section to find the exact cause of breakage. The same thorough inspection is done on broken POLE SECTIONS. We recommend pole rollers are always used with poles and they are elasticated by someone experienced. Please be advised the slightest knock can cause a weakness in a section that won’t break until you catch a fish, and so please ensure complete care is taken when transporting, assembling, dismantling and shipping back your pole.

Excellent well ballenced rod
A really pleasing rod. To be honest I thought you 2lb TC might be a bit overgunned for my local river but on my first outing with her I had a 7lb 14 Oz barbel in a tight snaggy swim. I found the rod very forgiving and able to absorb everything both I and the barbel threw at her. The blank is light and well balanced and the cork Handel attractive cosmetics and good quality guides really impressed me. Above all it was the action that I really appreciate though I found it a pleasure to use despite its high TC And power this is no broom handle!!! Really great rod as good if not better than many costing ££more.A really pleasing rod. Great rods for the price had no problem with casting a 4oz lead in to the middle of the Trent and plenty of backbone for a 2lb test curve rod would easily handle a double figure barbel
