      Great Brake pads

      Had just fitted new Fulcrum 3 wheels to my bike and my Shimano Ultegra brake pads were starting to score the rims after just two rides.Fitted these and sorted straight away.No difference in braking performance in fact I would rate these higher than the Ultegras,and no graunching noise when I brake.All in all I am very happy.Havent tried them in the wet yet though.Easy to fit and set up.

      Orange with good stopping power

      Kool Stop Salmon pads have the advantage of not being black, so you can see if they need cleaning up. The brakes work fine but the big reason for poor braking in the wet is usually dirty rims not brand of pads. Wheel builders tell me they are kind to the pads, which looks to be true as they don't seem to pick up grit or metal.

      Best pads ever.

      Koolstop salmon pads are the best pads I've ever used. Fantastic stopping power in wet wintery conditions. They certainly last a lot longer then other more expansive brands. Highly recommend.

      Effective but pricey.

      Effective but pricey. Expect they will wear faster than other makes. When you need to stop; you need to stop and I'm confident the pads will do the business (used for 280 mile 24 hour ride last weekend!)

      Much better breaking

      These are great brake pads that work much better than many of the competitors that I have tried. Particularly good in the wet, but also good in the dry. Seem to be kind to rims compare to other compounds too
