    Gigaset a220a Telephone answering machine - good & inexpensive. relatively simple to set up. The ringer IS loud enough [unlike one "reviewer's" comments on Y0u-Tu8e]. My only criticism is that there is no 'at-a-glance' indicator to indicate that messages are present. One must pick up the phone and look at the display. Other than that it seems fine.

    Brilliant little phone.

    Bought this as we needed an answer machine, but wall mounted & small. Brilliant little phone, smaller than most mobile phones that are around now, excellent sound and volume,on both incoming & outgoing calls. Very simple, easy to use menu. Excellent battery life, after initial charge, it took almost 7 days to run flat again.
