Applied to wooden and other delicate surfaces, it leaves them polished and gleaming, and in addition, it removes accumulated grime that previous polishes have left behind.     Spreads easily to protect metal

    Its easy to spread so the tin should last a long time, and easy to buff to a good shine. I am waiting to see if it protects the shine on brass candlesticks. It's given a protective layer to the metal frame of a bathroom mirror. I hope it lives up to its original purpose.

    Waxing Lyrical

    Renaissance Wax brings a lasting lustre to metal, wood and no doubt other surfaces. On bronze sculptures, it produces a greater depth and patina showing off the contours and details of the object not previously discernable. On old wooden objects such as carpenter's tools or gardening implements, it lends a new lease of life and integrity to previously dry and lifeless wood.

    Perfect!

    I bought this stuff on the recommendation of a bookbinder and use it for maintaining leather-bound books. Unlike the other preparations I've used it is wholly synthetic and does not contain substances like (beeswax) that over time become acidic and end up damaging the leather they were intended to sustain. Not only does 'Renaissance' offer a deep lustre and outstanding protection for leather books, it does a brilliant job with so many other items. I-Pods, computers (bodies and screens), wooden frames, penknives, hi-fi equipment, &c, &c. Its application seem almost limitless. It is easy to use and may be used in the most sparing manner without compronmising the result. I bought a 200ml tin, and given how little is needed for each item it works out a very economical. Great logo too.

    Top quality wood stock wax preserver

    Have just started to use this product so it will take awhile to evaluate its effectiveness. It was very easy to apply and really brought out a lustre to the wood stock on my air rifle.

    Quality and quantity at at great price.

    If you use this product on a regular basis the 3 Litre pail is the way to go. The pail comes with an easy to open and close tight sealing locking lid. Other than (if you believe necessary) transferring a smaller amount to an easier to handle container I cannot think of any drawbacks to this product.
