Terms and conditions of the sale
Fone Junction T/A BuyGadget Ltd will provide a 6 month Warranty on this repair service. The Warranty will only cover repaired components such as the touch screen, glass, NOT cover the following: Damage caused by liquid, Intentional damage, damage caused by dropping the product or intentional mistreatment. Damage caused by attempting to repair or adapt the device by yourself or a third party including jail-breaking and unlocking. Improper use of accessories, Faults or damage that may arise due to normal wear and tear – e.g scratches to touch screen, battery life. To make a claim under the warranty please contact us in the first instance for assistance.
The warranty is only effective from the date of the initial purchase. If an item is exchanged the warranty will not restart from the date of the return/exchange. The Warranty is valid for a maximum of 6 months from date of purchase and does not roll over. The customer will be liable for postal costs to return the device to us under any warranty work.
We ask you to remove or provide your pin number/ passcode so we can check the touch functions and Touch ID is working correctly after the repair. If you DO NOT follow these instructions your device will NOT be covered under our Warranty.
 
Devices that are returned under warranty will be subject to the following procedure:
The device will be subject to a full test so that we may diagnose the fault. We will repair the particular fault and return your device free postage. This process will be completed within 5 working days.
Accidental Damage and Water Damage are not covered under the warranty and if either is found the customer will be responsible for the cost of repairs or replacement unit if deemed un-repairable. No works will be undertaken without prior permission of the customer.
The customer will be liable for postal costs to and from the repair workshop in this instance.
 
RETURNS / CANCELLATIONS
 
IF you are experiencing an issue with the repair we ask you to contact us and send your device back to us so we can repair any issues which are linked to the repaired component. If you have purchased the listing by mistake please contact us so we cancel and refund you for the transaction.
 
Cancellations:
 
For cancelling any repairs to be done from us you need to do it before you dispatch the device to us. Once we have received the repair we may not be able to cancel the service however, it will depend upon the type of repair. We will deduct a postage fee to send the device back and then cancel the order and issue refund

Liability:
 
While repairing your device and in the extreme unfortunate circumstance your device is damaged in such way that it is beyond economical repair due to willful misconduct by us or our negligence we take the liability of providing a replacement that is limited to cost of your device replacement. We are not responsible for any data stored in your device. You will be solely responsible for any data corruption or lost data. You are suggested to take back up before sending the device to us.
After receiving the device our technicians will have to open up your device for diagnosing the problem and repairing it. There is some risk while opening the device and although we take care there may be some damage. We will bear the cost of repairs or replacement of such damage.
However, any damage caused from previous repair is not our liability.
Touch ID
We will not be responsible for Touch ID . We take extra care when transferring your original home button to the new screen but Sometimes in extreme circumstances Touch ID flex can malfunction due to stress on the bend in the flex. Whilst the home button is attached to the screen, the flex is bent behind the glass to hold it in place. Sometime small stress fractures can appear when removing the flex and in extreme circumstances will affect the touch id. Please be assured our technicians will do all they can to try and repair the issue but in some extreme circumstances its not possible to get it working again.
Repair Process & Delays:
As a company we aim to complete all repairs within 24 to 48 hours of receiving it (working days). However, this is not a guarantee or promise as every repair and device has its own issues that needs a different time period. About 99% of the repairs received by us are completed within the same day but if there are further issues the process may be slowed down.
While repairing if we find that it will take longer time period, we will notify you by email stating the reason for such delay and along with the estimated completion date. You can also track your repair status through the repair tracker to know if there are any new developments.
The repair may be delayed when we have to order any new parts. You will be getting updates of the whole process.
In case of diagnostic repair the time required may be more than normal repairs as our technicians take a look at every element to find out the faults with your device.
After we diagnose the fault we do not guarantee about repairing the device, although 97% of all devices diagnose by us are repaired.
On screen repairs of Samsung devices there are chances of LCD breaking for the glue that bonds the glass to the LCD. We offer you services of glass repair. If the LCD breaks, by any chance, we notify you and let you know about the procedure to take place. We seek your permission before carrying out with the repair and are also not liable for the payment of replacement cost of the glass.
 
Any time estimate provided to you for repairing the device is an estimate only and it is not an obligation on the company to return it to you by that time.
After receiving your device if you find that it is not faulty we will return in back to you with the refunding the balance. We will deduct an amount of £9.99 for handling fees that will cover the diagnostic and postage charges.
Replacing the glass on your device is an extremely difficult and high risk procedure. Sometimes on badly cracked screens you may find some small scratches or trace marks caused by glass damage to the polarizer behind. These will not affect the performance or appearance of the device whilst you are using it.
Additional Repairs:
After we received your device our technicians tests it rigorously and during this process they may find some additional problems. We will send you an email with the details of such problem and ask for your consent that whether you agree to pay further and get the device repaired fully. If you agree and pay us we will send the device again to our technicians who will start the repairing process. However, if you decline the additional repairs we will stop the repairing process and send the device back you. For any queries related to additional repairs we can always get in touch with us.
 
After arrival of a device and before we dispatch it back to you our trained technicians and testers test the device rigorously. We test different aspects of the device that includes vibration, buttons, cameras, sound, charging port, speakers, W-Fi, signal, LCD display, front screen, power settings and many more. We are dedicated in providing you best services and thus do not want to miss any fault.
Your Data:
Before you send your devices to us we recommend you to get proper data backup and reset your phone to factory settings. We also suggest resetting all phone pins and passwords so that our repairing process is not delayed. We do not take responsibility of any data on your device as we do not provide data recovery services. Also we suggest removing all sim cards, memory card or accessories from your device before you send it to us. We are not responsible for any loss thereon. We may need to update the iOS to ensure that the repair is correctly done.
 
By sending your device to BUYGADGET LTD you agree with the terms and condition that you release us from any sort of claims related to loss or damage of your data, be that in any form, viz, photos, SMS, games or songs. We are not liable for protection of confidentiality of your data. We consider that when we have received the device it is in factory settings.

All UK orders will be sent Royal Mail 1st Class Signed or DPD Next Day Service. This is not an insured delivery service and will not be held responsible for lost/ damaged packages by the courier. We do have a Special Delivery option which you can choose upon checkout which will insure your device upto £500.
We offer a same day dispatch service as long as payment is cleared before 3pm (working days only)
All orders will be sent to the delivery address provided when you place your order (unless an address change confirmation is acknowledged via email).
We are also able to offer a collection service from one of our retail store/ partners in Staffordshire, UK. Please contact us in advance to arrange a collection service
