About this product

Product Information

One of the Sci Fi Channel's most popular series, FARSCAPE is the story of a band of misfit renegades on the run from military Peacekeepers. The hero of the series is the human John Crichton (Ben Browder), a young astronaut and astrophysicist who becomes stranded on the other side of the universe when his Farscape module goes through a wormhole. There, he is taken in by the sentient ship Moya, whose passengers are a mixed lot of aliens, all of whom are on the run from the Peacekeepers. Unfortunately, while the ship is docked and making repairs, Crichton tangles with the captive Peacekeeper Aeryn (Claudia Black), a beautiful and volatile woman who alerts her captain about the Moya, putting everyone in danger. This volume features episodes 101-102: "Premiere" and "I, E.T."

  • (Happily!) Lost In Space

I've always been a late bloomer... My experience with FARSCAPE is a perfect example. No cable TV at my home. The show started on the Sci-Fi Channel... almost got canned... was saved by huge fan response. I just happened to catch an episode or two of FARSCAPE(thanks to syndication) one weekend. I never had a chance... I was hooked. It's about an astronaut (John Crichton) who, due to unforseen events, ends up on "...a ship... a living ship.", with a colorful crew of aliens - no boring "grays", here! Unique in appearance, they each have their own distinct personalities, their own agendas, motivations. They are "world's apart" and are forced to work together to continue to avoid capture by the ironically named "Peacekeepers". I'll stop here, you can watch for yourselves what happens. I ...

  • farscape tv series

This series is set in modern times about a space traveler who gets lost in space through a worm hole. Every episode is entertaining, sometimes comical, but always attention getting. A definite must see for any sci-fi fan.

  • Premier of the Best Sci Fi series ever!

Farscape is the ultimate Sci Fi series that pulled the viewer in. As the viewer you become acquainted with the main characters. John Crighton, an astronaut gets shot through a wormhole to another part of the vast universe. Where he encounters strange alien lifeforms, who are far more advanced than earth. His module is hit by an attack craft and the pilot loses control and is killed. Little does Crighton know that the pilot is the brother of the Captain of the Command Carrier, who then sets out after him with a blood lust for revenge. He is picked up by escaped prisoners on a living ship named Moya. And, the excitement picks up from there!
