    Takes us down memory lane

    Great Christmas classics! We are so glad to have stumbled on these stories! 2 Blu ray discs include, Frosty the snow man, Rudolph the red nose reindeer, Santa Clause is coming to town, The little Drummer Boy, Cricket on the Hearth, Mr Magoo's Christmas Carol, Frosty Returns! 7 in total for a great deal for Blu ray! Picture and sound is excellent!

    You are BETTER off ith the DVD Version

    The BluRay version states there are subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing on the package. I am deaf so was happy to hear this. This is a lie. There are no Subtitles or Captions of any kind on the disk. The Bluray version displays the films in their original 4:3 aspect ratio. You'll have to change the ratio to wide and stretch it on your tv. The DVD version I purchased later includes Closed Captions as indicated on the packaging and displays in widescreen format on it's own. I had even purchased Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Frosty the Snowman on Bluray individually after purchasing this item. Once again there were no Subtitles or captions of any, kind even though the packaging say there are, and they display in the original 4:3 format. This is one of those cases where updated ...

    Christmas classics

    Although I’m a fan of all the specials on this Blu-ray set, I can’t give it a total five star review. It is not because I didn’t like the music or the voice casts. I’m a perfectionist when it comes to watching stuff I grew up with. I like complete and in edited versionS. I thaught the price was right though and would have liked to have seen archived footage and maybe a documentary or two on Arthur rankin and Jules bass two of the producers of the majority of programming on this set. Knowing someone who is an authority on Rankin Bass productions may have been an influence though. If you want these all in a nice little set this one might be for you.
