Also seems like will be waterproof unlike one I previously bought on the high street.

At first I thought the PIR wasn't responding as the light initially stayed on a long time at first nightfall, but it now I can say it works out of the box. I recommend light flex rather than cable when wiring it as there isn't much space to push the base unit on otherwise. Actually I used a chopped 2 pin mains cable connected to a 13amp mins plug.
