      this stuff is of great value around the farm. I used to get the same chemical, in a brand called JASCO at Lowes, but they quit carrying it. it is easy to apply, just don't get in a hurry and don't get it on your clothes.Works grea

      Great item, will be back for more!

      Taped up really nice, no leaks, and a solid price. When I eventually use the jug I'll be back to get another one. Also, this stuff works GREAT and I can't recommend it. I use it literally, on every metal surface prior to painting. Doesn't matter if I can see rust or not. It takes so little product, and its worth it. Especially if the metal will be outside.

      Use It Right

      As far as value goes, I guess it depends on what the project is . Prepare work as per directions...rust will be converted to a black iron phosphate (paintable). Use in marine industry and, after much research into other specialized products, to kill rust under my truck. After rust conversion, underbody was coated with a paint containing fish oil...a natural, very effective, rust killer. 3 years later, in Florida sea water environment, very minor rust (part of a bolt head, etc). Applied to truck underbody using a garden sprayer. Doesn't seem to hurt anything...except...rust. It will react mildly with cement (discolors) so protect cement surfaces. Use on rust appearing on anything. Not harsh, but protect eyes and exposed body parts. Lethal to rust if directions are followed.

      Skyco "Ospho" review.....

      "Ospho" is a phosphoric acid solution.....when applied to ferrous metal, it forms a ferrous phosphate layer on the metal which is chemically inert.....this makes an excellent base for painting.........BTW....This works on clean or rusty metal......just get all the rust off that you possibly can prior to application........

      rust cleaner

      I use it on freshly sandblasted restoration metal to keep it from rusting and also it will remove short term "orange" rust. It won't remove long term deep brown rust.
