      It depends

      I'm not obese - 39" waist - but this belt is too short. Furthermore, it is not the same product as shown in the picture. That is a Regatta Hard Wear belt. I've had one of those for a few years and it's fine. As well as being too short, this is also narrower. It'll be ok if you're quite slim. If not, don't bother. I suspect the one I received had been returned before. It came with the card it's sold with but unattached. I won't bother returning it - postage and time. I'll give it to someone else.
