    bt Flex 1000 Powerline Adapter Kit

    Items arrived a quick as stated and looked BRAND NEW! not a mark on what looked like original packaging or the contents. The adapters came complete with two data leads and full instructions. As I was replacing two much older powerline adapters that I had been using for some years, I did not need the leads but may come in handy. Set was simplicity itself ( and I am a 77 year old) and were working within 5 minutes. Best of all they have resolved all the issues I was experiencing with the originals. At the price charged, an absolute bargain.

    First class items at a great price

    I found these items to be first class. Despite some bad reviews, I found they worked very well from the point they were set up & weeks later are continuing to do so. Despite reports that they should be installed on the same ring main, mine are not, as my broadband router on the ground floor and my desktop PC is located 2 floors above that. I did have similar extenders previously, but I wanted these, as they feature 2 Etherlet connections and I have a printer with the PC on the top floor and wanted to be able to connect to both from my laptop on the ground floor as part of our local network.

    It works well

    I use these to run my Virgin 200 gamer in my man shed. I get full connection speed which was my main concern but I also made sure that everything is now plugged up via gigabit networks each end. My only issue is... I brought a BT 500 kit for the kids rooms. But it turns out it will slow down these to the max speed of the 500kit which was only letting me download at 50meg. Will just buy more of these.

    Good..but beware the splitter not 2 ports

    Performing well... Just for information for any that like me didn't realise... The two Ethernet sockets on the top of the plug will not work simultaneously as it is purely a splitter. But you can get an ethernet smart switch for say 5 ports that apparently will then work off one of the output ports - not yet tried!

    Smart TV extender.

    Not being very technical, this was so easy to set up. simply follow the instructions and in the case of smart TV's just log in and you are ready to go. Interestingly, the instructions (meagre as they are) tell you not to use extension cables; why? Works perfectly well whether it's a TV in the shed you want or a TV in the garage, etc. Doesn't make any difference whether or not you use an extension cable at all. Great quality as well. Many much cheaper ones on the market but I was told by the local 'expert' to avoid at all costs as they can cause problems with 'one's viewing pleasure'. Interestingly you will still need an aerial albeit you are connected to the internet. A great quality product at a good price.
