About this product

Product Information

In NBA Street: Homecourt, players go up against NBA superstars on courts in their hometowns. Gamers who go "Career" must create a character and then pick a home to represent. Players then work their way from nobody to street ball legend by defeating other teams on their turf. Gamers go up against such NBA all-stars as Shaquille O'neal, Dwayne Wade, and Melo. As players progress through the game they are rewarded with upgraded skills and attributes for their avatar.

To truly own the courts players must master the "Trick Remixer." Gamers may execute a variety of special moves and combos during gameplay to upset the opponent's defense and to earn more points. Each successful trick bumps the Gamebreaker gauge up a notch until it is full and players activate the money ball. With control of the money ball, gamers can either go for a single basket or attempt to complete several combos before the dunk and earn up to three extra points. Online, players can create teams, chat with friends, check the leaderboard, and schedule tournaments.

Game was priced great and arrived in advertised condition. Seller included a folded paper towel pressed against the disc and case to ensure it wouldn’t pop out during travel. Little attention to details like this are greatly appreciated. A++ great vendor

Item came exactly as described, in very good condition. Box was a bit beat up. But the product came in great condition and that's all that matters. Came quickly and packed nicely. Great seller, definitely worth buying from again.

  • Is Homecourt as good as Street Vol.2?…Not so much.

Review care of http://gnadegames.blogspot.com Don’t get me wrong, NBA Street is by no means a bad game. In fact, it is chock full of high production values and is a vast improvement over Volume 3. Despite all of this, Vol. 2 is still the best in the series in my eyes. Gameplay: 8/10 Pros: The new gamebreaker system is great and offers a good system of risk and reward (opposing players can ‘steal’ gamebreakers). The fluidity of animations and the countermoves (a button appears over a ball handler or defender and if you press it you will bounce the ball through a defender’s legs, or steal the ball.) are also great additions. Cons: The intuition of the kick pass (press down on the right stick) is gone! Blocking long range shots is way too easy and makes games dunkfests. Trick Remixer brings ...

  • Great Rental

With my diamond card in one hand, and my rent one get one free game at Hollywood video in the other, I set out to rent the perfect game for the Xbox 360. Unfortunately, my choices consisted of a bunch of uninterested games and this one, NBA Street Homecourt. I gotta tell ya, I was pleasantly surprised. This game was a lot of fun. If you were a fan of the NBA Jam series back in the day, then you'll probably love this one. It's a lot similar with a touch of technological update for the next gen systems. It's a tad less ridiculous and also introduces a more personal view to the NBA players in the game. It's also 3 on 3 and includes a pretty slick online mode. I found the game to be pretty easy, even on the more difficult modes. Unless you're just a die hard NBA Jam-type game lover, this is a ...

  • AWESOME GAME

I know a guy at gamestop that got 3 copies of this game as a sample and my friend got his hands on one of the copies. I went over to his house and played it for a few hours. this game is awesome It has awesome new tricks you can do like double dunking, also jumping on your teammates backs from like the three point line and dunking which is the coolest trick. You also jump a lot higher than you do in the other nba street games. This game takes you through as a nobody and you build up your street credit and from what i see so far you become a hero in your hood. the graphics are awesome the players look pretty real and the frame rate is great also. I love the nba street games but the reason i give this 4 out of 5 is because its gameplay is almost the same as the other nba streets this game ...

  • Just Better Graphics

Don't expect a super significant improvement over Street V3, because NBA Street Homecourt just brings you better graphics than Street V3. There is barely any new tricks in the game and when you play they eliminated the guy who comments on your game. Also, if you try the story mode, which is very very easy to beat, you have to say bye bye to the customizing your court feature, also say as this is no longer available on the game. I would recommend still recommend buying this game even though there are missing features, whether you're an NBA Fan or not, because the graphics are definitely worth the money for either PS3 or 360.
