The best for small birds who like to perch.
I've had one of these feeders under another brand name (not kingfisher) for over a year and its perfect for what i need. i decided my little birds needed another 2 the same so i went hunting for the same brand which i could not find. but i took a chance on this one not being as flimsy and rustproof as i have read in reviews about kingfisher ones. plus this one does not have holes in the top of the lid (neither does my original one) and it has a little round knob on the top to stop water running down the cable into the feeder. I was so happy when i opened the box to find the exact same feeder i have!!! the one in the listing picture looks matt black but the one i received is like pewter and shiny. I am happy and so are my little birds, Arrived fast and well packed - thank you. The closest ... Nice looking lantern type feeder but can be expensive keeping it filled with seeds.
Robust and very neat looking feeder, however I find that when filled wth seeds the birds come along and start pecking at the apertures and the seeds fall out like an avalanche filling the tray. The birds are then knee deep in seeds and they get flicked everywhere!!! The full seed reservoir emptied in 24 hours. The apertures are too big!!!

A great product and well made. But for me there are two improvement that could be made. !, The "paint" is patchy and rust shows through in areas.(A clean down and a rust resistant paint has rectified this. 2 The lid would be better if the diameter was made larger to prevent rain getting onto the feeding area. How ever it is the best one we have ever had and at a good price. I would order another when the time comes but make additions to rectify the faults that I have found.A great product and well made. Bird seeder
