An outstanding account of the fortunes and misfortunes of 'Easy' Company of the 101st Airborne Division during World War 2. Superb acting by the brilliant cast and, as you would expect from a Stephen Spielberg/Tom Hanks production, gritty realism from start to finish. A true story with the added bonus of interviews with the real survivors of Easy Company at the start of each episode. An additional Blu Ray disc features extended interviews with the survivors and the cast, and a documentary on the making of the series. If you are are fan of war films, this is a definite 'must-see'.
