Just the job for wire wheels or centre lock alloy wheels.
This is exactly what I needed for the spinners on my centre-lock alloys on my classic car (1968 MGC GT)/ Knocking on and knocking off the wheels with this mallet as opposed to the previous owner's nylon-faced dead blow hammer is much easier and more precise. The lead is softer than the chromed steel spinners and so deforms rather than damaging the spinners. Its difficult to imagine that it would be softer than the spinners until you try it.
