    A-TEAM..machine guns and granades with a sense of humor

    I wanted to revisit the A-TEAM . Season 1 was where it all started and the show hit the ground running with great stories and the funny personalities of each member was developed very quickly. It also includes the pilot with all the original cast excapt DIRK BENEDICT ...whom really was a major upgrade. Still the pilot is funny and set the tone for the show. ......which was .......In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune.     The A-Team - Season 1 (2004 DVD)

    I love the upbeat, sassy, jazzy flavor of the show. Each of the four A-Team characters has their own strength, and interest... Of course, George Peppard delivers his usual excellent performance, as he always does in anything he appears in. Mr. T. is fun as the rough-personality he is, and Face, the con man of the group, and Murdock, the loveable insane asylum repeat escapee, just rounds out the fun and entertainment. Lots of shooting and chases, and cars exploding, but notice, no one ever gets hurt, or dies on the show, which is nice to see...You also don't see blood and gore... It's action, and adventure, and comedy, all rolled up in one... Great series; fun and enjoyable! I bought it because I am a fan of George Peppard, and never got to see the series when it originally was on TV...

    OH Santa please bring me the other 3 sets of this great series, , This was always one of my all time favorite shows, and when i saw it come out on dvd in a season set I was over joyed.. I will admit I have not watch every dvd yet, but heck i have seen them all, and i am just so happy to own this set.. I will be looking hard for the other 3 sets here on ebay.. anyone reading this who might have them for sale feel free to ebay mail me.. this series was just one of the best. my whole family could watch it, you can't say that about many series today , where you and your whole family can sit down and watch it together. I';,m tickled to death to own this.. its a 5 star series and set..
