Highly recommend this seller! Well-packed and lightning-fast is right! This seller delivered on what was described in the listing. I have had the receiver for 90 minutes, and it's making me smile! This is the same receiver my Dad purchased for my Mom for Mother's Dat back in 1974, and it's a staple from my childhood.     Awesome Quality!

    This is a high quality DVD recorder; records DVD-R's and plays pretty much every DVD/CD format is out there. Built to last, gorgeous display, tons of features and inputs/outputs. Make sure you call Pioneer and give them the S/N of the unit, and they will tell you if has all the firmware updates. Do not try and burn DVD's until you make sure you have the latest firmware update! You may run into the risk of destroying the unit! The update solves the issues with burning newer hi-speed DVD-R's (hi-speed DVD-R's were not available when the unit was launched). The DVR-7000 is not as fast as the new recorders, and does not have an HDD. However, it delivers constant results, and served me right. Take a look under the hood and see the quality of components and craftsmanship.

    Excellent recorder

    Fast recorder, good quality and easy to use. The Pioneer is DVD-R compatible; solid recording quality; intuitive, comprehensive menus; free TV Guide electronic programming guide worked properly in our tests; high-speed video dubbing and archiving; custom recording modes. In just one word: EXCELLENT.

    This product has GREAT video quality and is VERY easy to use.

    For anyone looking to make DVDs and transfer video from other sources, I highly recommend the Pioneer DVR-7000 DVD Recorder. It not only has GREAT video quality, it also allows you to set different levels of compression for saving space and adding more content to one DVD.
