I ordered this Hosco nut file holder and six files from Philadelphia Luthier. The seller did a fine and quick job of packing and shipping them. I have not used the files yet but they appear to be an excellent example of Japanese industrial craftsmanship. The photo shows the items I purchased a pair of complementary guitar picks and some of the packaging , so help me, laser engraved with the words "nut file"! Talk about attention to detail. I am well pleased with this purchase and seller!

    Great pot!!!!!

Very smooth feel and great for volume swells. The tone has a gradual effect instead of an on off effect. I couldn't be happier. Strat players beware, it doesn't take much to hit your volume knob with your pinky. Yngwie can make it work and with a little practice so can we. Love it. It mates well with my Seymour Duncan TB 6 humbucker. Great product.

    YJM Volume pots

I like the characteristics of this pot. Smooth, with a nice taper. However, the last two times that I purchased them, the package was marked 500K, but the pot inside the package was 250K. Also, I just installed one in a guitar, only to find that the pot was defective. Too much wasted time. I think I'll try another brand.

  • YJM pot

The lugs are so small you cant solder #3 to ground without a wire, I have never seen that. Feels flimsy, at twice the price of a good CTS no load. Feels light, cheap. Gimmicky ,an over hyped sort of thing. It is fast to turn although it will turn when you don't want it to. Your playing along and it will just drop your volume during your solo for no noticeable reason. On a Stratocaster, this can be a big problem not a benefit. If you leave your finger on the volume control all the time ,this will work wonders, if you ever take your finger off the knob during your solo, , its a disaster. After trying this out, I like the harder to move pots better.

  • Great Pot!

I saw this Yngwie pot on the Duncan website and iIt sounded interesting. It doesn't cost much more than a good pot. I found the YJM pot to be smooth in regard to the physical turning of the pot/knob. Not only is it smooth but also faster than any other pot I've tried. The second, and most important to me, is that it's extremely sensitive to roll off. I use the volume pot constantly when playing (especially live) for rolling off a bit for verses/other soloists and volume swells to name two typical uses. I'm now replacing GOOD pots with this now! I'd like a 25k to use with an EMG! Hint, hint Seymour Duncan!
